The History of Jainex

Jainex Group was founded in the early 1980s as a regional logistics enterprise built on discipline, reliability, and strong business ethics. Over four decades, Jainex has evolved from a regional transport operator into a multi-vertical industrial enterprise guided by resilience, calculated expansion, and a consistent commitment to operational excellence.

Early 1980s

Foundation & Diversification

Jainex Group commenced operations in the early 1980s, beginning as a financing venture focused on heavy equipment vehicles in Guwahati. Over time, the company expanded from financing into logistics, transportation, and equipment hire, responding to the growing industrial demands of Northeast India.

By the late 1980s, Jainex diversified into distribution and C&F operations, steadily strengthening its operational foundation across the region.

In 2003, Jainex marked a significant milestone by expanding into automotive logistics, strengthening its national operational footprint. The Group began transporting two-wheelers and four-wheelers across India, serving leading OEMs such as Hero Honda, Tata Motors, General Motors, MLL, and Maruti Suzuki (MSIL).

This expansion required specialised vehicle carriers, route planning expertise, and strict delivery timelines, establishing Jainex as a dependable national-scale logistics partner.

As operations scaled, Jainex developed a robust PAN-India logistics network, strengthening its presence across major industrial corridors while building deep operational capabilities in remote regions, including the North Eastern States.

Commitment to excellence was formally recognised with the Best On-Time Delivery and Best Damage-Free Delivery awards from Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL).
